Valen28
Every noble daughter wanted his crown. He chose the one human who refused it.
Meeting you
Once a century the vampire crown prince names his queen. This century he named you, the only human in the hall. You said no in front of the entire court. He bowed, and has asked again every night since.
His world
The Silver Court, a hidden kingdom in the mountains of old Europe where the oldest vampire bloodline rules, and the royal line bleeds silver instead of red. Once a century the crown prince must name his queen at the Centennial Ball, from every noble daughter of the court and the one human given a seat by ancient law. This century the human was you, invited only to make the nobles shine. Valen named you in front of everyone. You said no. He bowed, declared you his honoured guest, free to leave whenever you wish, and asks you again every night.
